i've been reading a book called poetry

till i realised  
it took
my eyes  
off me
 
then heard the voice
inside of the
heart  
there's a choice
leave it be
 
close the book
and  
set self free
 
i nodded  
and said
yes
agree
 
makes perfect sense
i shall see
 
and i just couldn't
to any degree
perhaps this is where
am meant to  
be
