TERIYAKI

I like my teriyaki a certain way
slightly salty
slightly sweet
slightly bitter
slightly sour
superkalifragilistic

I happened to meet a mesmerizing beauty
i wanted to chop off her clothes
just like veggies.
I could have gone wild,
but she was easy going
reminded me of old teriyaki,
simple yet sophisticated.

She was appetizing,
I allowed myself to salivate.
just a little...
for she seemed like a sumptuous meal.
Sweet and yummy,
just like old teriyaki.

So we flirted as usual
but for some reason,
nothing went down.
teriyaki was just in the mind,
talk about fine dining.
