Author's Note
I am in beautiful, terrifying love. It keeps growing and shifting, but not like something malignant. I'm trying to just enjoy the evolution...a Zen-like shift of my consciousness...the wind picks up...but then gives way to a breeze...the opening of a rose. I feel like I've discovered a new country. I feel Enlightenment. I am in love with my best friend, and it is deepening.
