Trapped In A Cave

A cave, damp with no light

Rocky and narrow, like a tunnel

No way out

The large chamber led to nowhere, except a wall

And now you wished you’d reconsidered

Must keep the claustrophobia at bay

Stay calm. Don’t panic

Your voice echoes through unseen space

No one calls back

You hear the trickle of water

A bat in the distance maybe guided by the dark.

Then silence
