but they drool to see it in others
Fucking looky-loos admiring my flaws
as I stupidly flaunt them
thinking my bravery will free us all
hoping for reciprocation
Realizing too late cowards will never play along
Now my bruises are their power

Flaunting flaws is a courageous thing, and it might not free us all, but it frees some. Trust that I know at least that. Love is measured in how much you give, not what you've gotten back from it, so I figure the deeper the wound, the more you know the capacity to love. These words are strong, I felt them in my soul spot.
