Walk Away

Does it make you feel better, baby?
Does it drown out all your fears?
Don’t you care that I don't approve?
Don't you see all of my tears?

Do you not feel any pain anymore,
When it finally finds that vein?
I’d say I’m quite surprised, but
To say that, I’d be declared insane

I’m not sure how to stop this ride,
Really don’t even know what to do.
I said I’d love you til our death,
Even at this rate, I still very much do.

You’re pushing the limits, my sweet,
This much you have always done.
I just wish the best for you, always
And to rise beside you like the sun.

Our ride could be cut short, though,
If we keep testing our fate this way.
You’ll drag us to our early graves,
If you simply cannot walk away.

I beg of you, absolute love of my life
Please don’t leave me here all by myself.
Cause that’s precisely what will happen,
If you continue to think of only yourself.
