Life
is straight up
LOOPY as fuck.
Anyone else feel stuck?
Shit out of luck?
Mind running amuck?
It's like
GO! GO! GO!
We never stop
Or slow down
we're always on the run
never having fun..
no longer astonished
by the sun..
What have we done?
I feel gone...
Long gone..
Getting less lonely though,
I can see
I'm not the only one who feels this way
on any given day.
Who's to say
how we should behave
or feel or not feel..
Does anyone know what's "real"?

This is so unbelievably true. It seems like life is all about getting ahead and for what, honestly? It's like people work towards succeeding at a job that makes them miserable so they can have a nice car, a big house, etc., but where does that get you in the grand scheme of things? I think everyone, myself included, need to remember the little things in life and to take a deep breath once in a while, haha, this poem got me thinking so thank you!
