Spring

Pine pollen everywhere
     dog's nose
     computer screen
     floating on the resevoir
Some Canadian geese 
     out on the lake
     renewing old bonds
     or building new ones
I sit at a picnic table 
     close to the waters edge
     a pair of geese floating
     quietly in front of me
As clusters of Dogwoods 
     in full bloom flash
     white in the shadows 
     In the surrounding woods
