Small Cafe
We went on different routes
meeting same in the night.
Drinking wine - an easy way out
drowning turmoil of separate plight.
The den was crowded so a table we shared,
Our hearts so lonely, risking no care.
It must 'ave been a miracle
that guided us this way.
You needed me, and I You
at the time in that dark cafe.
Out of the voided blue,
my love left me for another
my heart burning with pain.
You said you lost a brother
your heart felt much of the same.
Seeking solace in the company of others -
still remaining in solitude,
we sought out the small cafe.
Not expecting the masses
we drank together -
in an unexpected stay.
2 people needing a miracle.
2 people needing it right away;
2 people hurting. . .
guided to a small cafe.
