My pallete
You stole my heart, you stole my dreams,
you stole my youth, I wanna scream.
In black and white I bleed my blues
with every colour that I've seen.
Every movie, every scene,
every word that crops up in my head,
happy, sad or mean.
At times I'm but a catalyst, that just how it is.
I grab some flavour and I add a bit,
I want my words to fizz before I send em off.
Don't get mad at it, if I put you in a song,
I bring you up in life, I can put you in a poem.
I write about what I like, grief, pain, pride, that list goes on.
You've caused them all, pleasure, joy and jealousy
are like the dawn, they've come and gone.
I ain't seen you in so long, but I remember it all,
now you're just another colour that I
use when I draw.
