Image for the poem Let us

Let us

Let's lace the water supply with lsd
Let's dream the day away and smoke dmt
Let's consume something
that'll actually
set us free.

Let's turn off the tv's
and shut down the smartphones
Let's try tai chi
and escape from our Dark homes.
Let's exist without social media
and coexist without the mindless multimedia.

Will we manage to move forward?
Or
shall we keep moving towards
extinction?
As we also "amuse ourselves to death"
Is that an instinct?
To cause things to go extinct?
Even
ourselves eventually.

Let's not murder one another
Let's not conspire to cause chaos
Let's not compete for global control

Let's merge as one through meditation
Let's elevate to the sun with entheogens
absolute ascension
into the divine dimension
which actually
is right beneath our feet
and all around us..
I see earth as being the perfect
cosmic paradise
 one of the most
beautiful planets..

Let's stop abusing her
and her creatures
Let's change our ways while we still have a chance
(This includes me
This applies to me more than anyone)
Let's not take a chance on losing these lovely ancient lands..
Let's demand that the destruction end
Let's stop being so reclusive and reach out for rescue..
Rescue from ourselves
that's where psychedelics come in,
I think they're the perfect package
everything in one..
Deep self reflection and intense introspection of the infinite inner youniverse as well as an incredible appreciation for the planet and beings which reside upon her..
Therefore
Put lsd in the water supply
Shovel shrooms into societies psyche
Deal dmt everywhere and blow peoples mind.. kill egos left and right
A definite way to connect
to divinity directly
so unexpectedly
eternal and
strange..

Author's Note
"Nature does in fact teem with subjectivities—call them spirits if you like—other than our own; it is only the human ego, with its imagined monopoly on subjectivity, that keeps us from recognizing them all, our kith and kin. In this sense, I guess Paul Stamets is right to think the mushrooms are bringing us messages from nature, or at least helping us to open up and read them."
