Silent Thunder

have a drink of electricity
subtly flowing between you and me
what we feel we feel whenever
we are joined, when we're together

in the ether, thoughts and fingers
ionized sensation lingers
imagining that each nerve ending
both receives and too is sending

waves of passionate sexuality
synchronizing between you and me
rising tides of awe and wonder
lightning crackling silent thunder

having a drink of electricity
intimate moments between you and me
penetrating visions sharing
love is love and we are daring

to be joined, to be together
feeling what we feel whenever
rising tides of awe and wonder
strike like lightning's silent thunder
