the thought
seduced like a sudden breeze
caressing the mind
immobilizing a man in mid stride
to the enticing idea of
coming home to a cozy bed
bewitched in shades of burgundy
framing a warm waiting body
with silky curves hinted at
by her candlelit vigils
softy scented
minted in oils of aphrodisia
spoils for his eyes only
poised and primed to be soiled
by his aching needs
extracting his long hard day
into the quilt of her love
devoting her entire being as
the space of his soul's hibernation
the place where
her man can retire from the
rest of the world
