Lost

So lost am I in this ocean
Drifting far from the shore
Floating in uncertainty
Unsure of where to land
I go with the flow of the current
Surrendering to the will of life
Letting the hands of fate take me
To where I am supposed to be
The waves carry me off
Like a driftwood far into the ocean
Far away from the things I knew and love
I am lost in this tempest
Surging through me
The harbor looks so near and yet so far from me
I feel a sense of hopelessness
Cast away from everything familiar to me
Into the vast unknown
Into the dark abyss of my heart
