ladybug

I cry in the fluorescent rain
watching you walk away
again...

de-glow colored ladybugs
you don't see the beauty
they are just pests to you

my artistry rainbows of agony
lighting on the horizon with its truth
a library of pain...

ghosts kept in my well-kept diary of sin
you read me from one angle
and get only half the picture

battered remains of the day
lie at my feet
their gentle light still reflecting on me

you hit me with a tornado of feeling
and then fled the scene
left holding my broken smile in place
I weep...
