Bad Allegory for Poets, Poetry, Poems (Poots, Pootree, Pooms)

 

The poets are Gone, as if
                  t h e y        never were.  Poems all
                                                             hollowly
                                                    writ in empty space
                                                        (the only truth),
               where the pain of Being
                 in this way of raw flesh & crazed psyche
           flooding Our Poor Little Mind  with great constructs
                   of magical d'lusion gets it's way with each spin
                             of the ol' Orb.

O, whatta Trip. O, whatta Dream
                                              of a world destroyed
                                       by it's own shallow self-adoration.....
