Ballad of Igor Suitandtie

Igor, I know something's bothering you
The way you tremble, and your mouth shuts like glue
You don't realize the dangers
Of being so secure with strangers
And you play the part of the people-pleaser conformist
When your social bonds with other ones
Were never transformist.

Igor, I know something's troubling you
Your boat don't float and you don't know how to tread
In your mind from the world
You get a message, you want to drop dead
And your tops have finished their submission
Your conscious fades away
You drive off the dock
And leave the keys in the ignition.

Igor, I know something's stopping you
From living out a revolution
You go to great lengths to pay tuition
Then we invite you to sing with us
But you say it's not your diction
And you don't place payment where it's due
Yet everyone seems so beautiful
When they sit before you.

You're suppressed by society
So you reject it
And, you don't envy yourself
So you covet!

Igor, I know something's depriving you
When one makes a statement, you must have one too
You see the gaiety here and now
You want to join them, but you're not sure how
And you instantly think they're
More eligible for a better humanity
Then in your little mind
You are robbed of your sanity
The status-quo tells you how to dress
You don't look like us
Yet your head's still a mess.

Igor, I know something's driving you
To start your furlough with the Beats
Wear a bandanna too
Insanity has gone
And the street walks have begun
The sun is shining
Where the dark once won
The others are walking
And now you run
In the piercing Mother Sun
You're at the top
You have no worries
You're in control
Choosing not to hear furies.

Reality, instead of fantasy.
Originality in place of fakery.
Ecstasy instead of mockery.
