The Human League - Being Boiled - 1978

Checked like trick potential, from the heart. She didn’t look like she could go- can’t always predict; first time someone laid ground rules for me. She’s leaving the state in a few weeks; told in the heat. She’s suspicious because my friend and I were dressed alike (she went over to chat her up; revealing truth). It’s about pool (my mind’s on kicking somebody’s ass on that table-put your money up- coming up in rank; still not connecting) and then they tried to get it started (they’re gonna put a bounty on our head-they’ll get me first don’t worry-she’s snickering). This one (me) and Sue can’t be on the same team- really? call it- you gotta be good at something: not getting laid but they swore it was a conspiracy to collect; assuming we’re running for the owners; having fun chuckling at them in between (Baltimore could get down: my alter ego) but my friend comes over to point her out-rare; flat personality; grieving for the future. That’s nice; I says I look at a couple items too-regulars. Assumed; done. She liked that so-too eager and sporty spice was well represented for her classification- 2nd tier diesel. Lucy proceeds to hook it up without permission. Coming over after my shot; together. She’s like I don’t want no problems, nobody coming after me, blowing up my phone with…(talking to me like she pushed me outta her fucking ass; yea bitch keep going-what else don’t ya want? Looking at her) but…trying not to laugh. So you cannot say all women…this, that and the other- I don’t know who your use to dealing with but... yes you can take me out. I says you’re not gonna have any problems with me (round the clock ho for a party of 1). You don’t get this ugly doing it all the time.
(I had to flesh my memory out then revisit-so much happened I outta be crazy)
