In these uncertain times,
an ottoman may be your only
solace
‘fore an almighty
energetic source.

The faces will open full
and aglow;
then the dark voices
whisper and disclose.
& if you possessed
a universal tongue
omniscient rhyme
bottomless prose
sufficiently to teach
us outright
might we see beyond
“normal” sight?

What then, when
an audience turns away?
You’ll come to know, sense
what you needn’t say
the essence and await
for action, only.

Deafening
louder than spoken
acts still require the latter
for when one begins to
teach
examples are what will
matter!

In these hopeful times
An ottoman may be
employed
to get down to
eye level.
