Where She Lies

I left her there, disposed of like discarded sin
Dreampt from deep within a withered soul

Looming trees to guard her post and the meloncholy of it all warms me so sweetly

Upon the wretch, ever gathered in the fountains of my ego I distill her body
Keeping her treasures for my own

Amongst the chaos of the forest
Shrouded by flora of the prettiest colours she lays there in ruin

Of murdered sunsets and balmy dew
I encroach with bitter rue
Better for her to slumber broken then live this lifes waking lie

A deathknell rang from the pangs of my love and into the maw of my darker self
An enlightenment far dispelled like the sickly moss that blankets her

For far better delights have plagued her bones then the carrion that is the masked and esoteric thing that is my being

A wolf for the ages, forever stalking lifes lost sheep
