Sky Gazers

I wonder, would you truly feel my wavelengths
Would our frequencies collide to newer depths
Would we gaze at the stars, lonely but homely
Would you hold me closely and kiss me slowly
I wonder, would the trees sway, sing hymns
Would the wind make us weightless to swim
Would clouds disperse so the freckles emerge
Would this be our new favorite place to surge
I wonder, would you see me behind my bane
Would you give me space when I feel self-disdain
Would you make my chasmic scars fade, disarray
Would you whisper sweet nothings utterly in vain
I wonder, would your love dissolve, quell my Ego
Would your murmurs melt me, dispel my evil
Would it halt my inner, livid, impulsive upheavals
Would my burdens one day cause you to be feeble
I wonder,
would your brilliant light
one day guide me
