I'm old enough to retire but I'm a little scared of all that free time and no paycheck. I think 2 more years ....

There is so much meaningful work & helping to be done in the world (some paid and some not) that I've never understood why people equate "retirement" with "stopping". To me it seems like a great opportunity to commit to some things you haven't had the time or energy for previously.
So, your game plan sounds pretty solid - but you might want to plan one or two other pursuits in case you need breaks.... ;)

Making and showing art will be on the list..
I've always wanted my own gallery but it's too expensive where I live. Might have to migrate elsewhere....
