THE Tree
A sometimes symbol.
Standing in our midst for centuries
and even ” in the beginning “…
A sometime symbol of unwavering
power, strength and faith.
An unlimited stalk which we are able
to lean against. Weight fully.
The symbolic plant that bore all our
transgressions.
Upon the shoulders —- our maker(s)
so that we might live.
And now as our maker(s) arose
we too are called to rise, “and when
we fall,” our maker(s) firmly rooted
in our hearts. . .
Roots deeply embedded in universal love
Branches of the “family” ever growing,
supporting, loving, reaching. . .
bearing fruit.
Many years have elapsed and
” THE Tree ”
stands always (unintentionally) in the
shadows.
A gentle reminder
of how
we have
all the time in the world.
