the eternal grips a darkened heart
the doors swing wide daring you to step inside
I call you from the threshold
calling you back to me...
 
spinning on the Earth's axis
you lose your footing
I catch you as you struggle to breathe
too long in the ether's atmosphere
your mind spins at what could be
 
if you'd only stayed a moment longer
damn it all the things you could see
if I hadn't caught your attention at the last minute
 
I whisper your eyes aren't ready
to behold the universes...
here let me remove your blinders-
 
you can behold its greatness
right where we stand
walk with me to the portal of eternity
 
meditate on a state of bliss
feel your self weightless
bending time with your awareness
 
I open my hand...I have a key
with a solemn look in my eyes
I tell you it comes with a price-
 
there is a great responsibility that comes with knowing
are you prepared to carry the weight of understanding?

walk in with me...
let's travel a light beam to the stars
there you will hear voices
 
it is the immortal...
shining jewels of the verses
they have the answers you seek
 
now listen intently they are speaking to you
with quiet whispers now
