THE HADES AFFLICTION
You’re beautiful in my shadow
Among those that I’ve left behind
And when you call to me
In vain, I see
Are various dead prodigies
My touch is like a graveyard stone
Dead and cold left out in the snow
And when you reach for me
I turn away
And leave you freezing in the rain
There is no mystery of this misery
Just a travesty wrapped in tragedy
Feeding the demons at home in my mind
There is nothing left of me to save here inside
I know what I am
Deathly with infection
I’ve shunned all the Persephones
And demogorgons to embrace
This Hades affliction
I’ve brought you here to the dead lands
To abandon you at your tomb
And when you cry to me
In vain, I see
Total waste of good suffering
Your touch was once a treasured prize
But now it has grown repulsive
And when you crawl to me
I turn away
To let you rot inside your grave
From this alchemy taste the blasphemy
Godless rhapsody forged in phantasy
Speaking to demons at home in my mind
Offer nothing left of me to give here inside
I know what I am
Deathly with infection
I’ve shunned all the Persephones
And demogorgons to embrace
This Hades affliction
Follow me, my brother
To the end of the abyss
Where the state of emptiness awaits
Come with me, my lover
Where the thorns will poison our kiss
Where the touch of deadliness awakes
There is no mystery of this misery
Just a travesty wrapped in tragedy
