Rainy Day

Rain Rain - Go Away!
I'm stuck inside.
There is no sun in the sky.

Everything is wet.
Water is pooling.
Weather alert on my phone,
I'm not fooling.

A chuckle or two.
Southern Cali, heavy rain.
treated like a hurricane.
It's too dangerous to go out
for an emergency latte.

Even the humming birds freak.
Saw one under the stairs.
Flying under a landing,
staying out of despair.

Maybe I'll risk it,
and go out.
Mother nature be nice.
Ok end the drought.
But there aren't many sights.
All the beauties,
are bundled up real tight.
