Strains and tension

Crackles and pops,
subtle sounds that never stop.
Any movement with my mouth at all and
I feel the cracking of my jaw.
So much tension and pain over the last few years,
occasionally I was reduced to tears
unable to stand the strain I felt in my temporomandibular joint,
at certain points I no longer felt sane
just to much for my brain
to handle.
