Image for the poem Dormant

In that moment;

of a timeless capacity were their two beings; dormant and left to their existence alone.
     They were interlaced___
               tangled,  weaved, affixed                 Heart.
Atop his rigidity;                                               glide after slick glide, her enclave;
                 _____  Worshipped
                    ____ Captured
Between his hands; steadfast and allegiant, he anchored her hips.  It was as if -- beneath his palms, she were his sacred felicity; a paradise for his creation alone. In solidarity, it felt like the others pulsing blood coursed through their own veins. The same breath, they also shared, simultaneously stripping it from the others lungs to breathe it back. Their souls mingled and conjoined __ to a united flutter; they both pulsed.
                      One heartbeat__
         __One sanctity__
With placid and tempered strokes, the same; a litany of pleasure unraveled. Unveiled and unleashed; into the unrestrained release of their synchronicity had she ridden them to.
