Author's Note
My first attempt at a simple acrostic piece...
The painting is by an artist from India named Mona Aslanzad. It's called "Lovers Make Love”. I thought the image was absolutely gorgeous and fit the poem quite well.
I've used the image for artistic purposes only, with no intent of financial gain. All rights to this beautiful piece of art go to its wonderful creator, Mona! Also, if you like the art, she sells copies of this piece here:

Honestly, I'm not sure what an acrostic is(maybe you could tell me sometime), but it's a beautifully written, and colorful piece. Do you charge for tutoring? Lol.

Hey Matthew,
Acrostic is just the style its in. See how I have love written vertically, and I built the poem around it? I guess it just means that the poem spells out a word. If you google acrostics you will see more examples.

The poem was intentionally written to be aesthetically pleasing, and so each line is extending slightly further than the previous line to create a stair-like aesthetic. Unfortunately, it only looks like this on the computer, though, and it doesn't display correctly on the phone. On the phone it shows the last 2 words on a fifth line, instead of just 4 neat, descending lines as it was intended.
