Tears of Darkness

Lord I know I played my part in why its so dark.

Somehow I lost my way and can't seem to get back.

Can't find my way home under this spiritual attack.

Throughout life lessons, I truly thank you for all of your blessings.

It burns when it rain, try to do good, but darkness has left its stain.

Life, health and strength I shouldn't complain.

Tears of darkness mark my soul.

Laugh now and cry later is what I was told.

It's all fun and games when you enjoying doing wrong.

But when the rabbit has the gun you'll sing a different song.

My foes scoff at my calamity, but in these dark days I salivate for amity.

With no one to call on because all my friends switched.

At the gates of Helheim, there I was ditched.

The smallest ray of light is enough for hope.

It's the only way and the purest antidote.

I am that I am, this darkness no more can I take.

This feeling of hopelessness I cannot shake.

Lord before I die; I hope with you peace I make.

This world is full of rancor and very cold.

Tears of darkness mark my soul.
