Thank you, NewB. When I wrote this piece in 2012, my father was already 5 years dead, at the age of 99. I never thought of a name for the art work form until just now; I could see it as a content acrostic, since DAD spells features rather than just the word.
I remember using a table to create the shape. This limited the words to individual cells in which I then manipulated the computer space bar to get the curves. Time and patience were not in short supply.
I see you have been writing up a storm! We are, no doubt, drinking from the same fountain.
