Sitting next to the steam radiator
Window open a little
Heat rising
Beautiful January breeze
Pipes clanking
I love that sound
A symphony of old pipes tuning up
Then the comfort of warmth
I could still be sleeping
I chose not to, coffee soon

Ah, this is so beautiful. A very big like from me.
I grew up in a house with clanky pipes. Moving to this apt. many years ago was the continuance I needed to remember parts of my youth and go forward in my own oddessy .....

I lived in a place once with a steam radiator. I miss that noisy old thing. It's the little things, isn't it?
