what would you have me do?
What would you have me do?
All I have, is all that I've given you.
I'm not blind to say I don't see all the beautiful things you desire.
But I've given my hands, to give you all the things I afford you.
It brings me tears to see you long for things others have, you wish you had.
I've heard all your requests,
I hide in shadows when you pray and I hear your every word.
Is the things I give you with love not enough to you?
Is there another way?
What would you have me do?
i too I'm forever chasing ghosts, searching for a better life to give to you.
I wish you could see the sleepless nights,
The unspoken wishes and criminal thoughts I cultivate at night just to bring you a better life.
My every blood, sweat and tear.
Is drilled deep in every penny I'm able to give.
I've learned to grasp the rays of the sun,
And put my hand in the fire.
I've learned to go to bin to bin.
I've learned to take the embarrassment so you never should.
I wasn't quick to take the bate and catch the perfect price that waits for every rich man.
Life never gave nothing to the tin man.
Everything I have, everything I give,
Is drenched in blood sweat and tear.
What more would you have me do?
All I have, is all that I've given you.
I'm not blind to say I don't see all the beautiful things you desire.
But I've given my hands, to give you all the things I afford you.
It brings me tears to see you long for things others have, you wish you had.
