We sought regal humor
& death
of the body and mind.
burning in the filth and pyre ash of religion,
we sweat sinner Sunday church sacrilege.
souls destroyed themselves wallowing in vices.
jaw lines and seduction
devoured peach fuzz.
temptation kicked up pornographic thoughts.
lead violin brought us home
in a country not our own.
