Love is like the sea  
 
Your love is like the sea rising up to me  
the waves riding me drenching my soul...with your love.  
Moody or calm, rough or gentle the thrill of it all  
My boat approaching the harbour then I hear your call  
Am harboured in tight - feeling safer, warmer inside  
gonna stay for the night feeling the sway of love's tide  
 
We wake to the shrill of the gulls and I touch you  
you smile comfortably and I need your morning love  
My mast is risen your lips taste and I taste you too  
I feel my heart pumping for my turtle dove  
 
The sky is clear and we sink into a kiss  
You guide me and the position is changed  
We set sail to a cranny cove amid a silent mist  
'tis quite and tranquil and unchanged  
 
The feel of you divine  
And we set down anchor all the way  
Our vessel rocks and that is fine  
We share each other through the day  
 
Let down the sails Baby I hear you whisper to me  
And let me have you so very deep and intimately  
That feeling again as I harbour inside  
The way you open so very wide  
Now the mast is high and the sails are down  
And we can really go to town  
 
Your love is like the sea, eternally  
We bond in a rhythm so moving  
Like poetry in motion  internally  
The tide moves in and we are cruising
