I even liked the sound of the spinning dial. Gave your fingers I think a tad more exercise than the cell phone does today. I love the sturdy hand held receiver. I wish they could invent a rotary cell phone.

So many memories of stopping mid-dial.... rotary provided so much time to think... "why haven't we talked?" ... "maybe I should wait..."

You brought to mind the rotary phone my grandma had sitting on the corner of her bed.
She would always forget the number she was calling mid dial, since her bible served as her black book the phone was never to far from it.
It’s been some time since I’ve thought of the lady’s room. Tonight you brought a smile to my face and tears to my eyes. Thanks PS for unfogging these memories.
