05:30 Alarm
Grabbing sand falling through your hands, hour glasses you can't flip,
The light in your soul, only as bright as a candle a dimming wick,
Light switch as fast as lightning, sleepy eyes feeling frightened,
Disciplined see it vibrant, excitement to seize the diamonds,
Wake up in a flick, mood go getting or quit,
Brew coffee shaking holding sloppy, light a cigarette phlegm spit,
Exhale and sipping, the holy grails of adult children,
My selfish fulfilment, will forever be heaven delivering,
Simple blessings relieve stressing, before my skin needs dressing,
Development arrested, learnt lessons when you put less in,

I used to wake up like this but much earlier in the am;
I liked waking shivering and outside before Selene gave way to the Sun God.
