Forecast

I hear voices in the rain
Singing that I don't have long
That I'm destined to go down in pain
As I hear their fatal song

But I see faces in the clouds
Countering that abject horror
They gather in billowed crowds
And say I have too much in store

They inform me I can't pass in peace
Until I fall once in love
Just once before my last release
Before I join them high above

I can surely see reason
In what they have to say
They grant me one more fair season
And if successful I will stay.
