touching silence

your fingers trail
through uninhabited places
where
wet words emanate

nourishing yourself into battle
painting me into more than art
feelings overtake thinking
exuding an energy which speaks fluently

hands run over the spread of your shoulders
the muscles of your stomach tighten
as I gently read every piece of flesh
making up the cover of you

my moans caught and held
deep, as you place
your brokenness against mine
weight pressing hard

I lie curved into you
listening
understanding
it's already written in the touch of silence
