Mysticism 101i- Understanding

This colleague was recounting a workplace experience late last night and my policy is you can bring me anything but some shit about a fucking relationship not when people are sick going back and forth to the hospital, trying to keep basic bills paid among office politics and looking for ways to negotiate life on their terms; we don’t have that kind of toleration for foolishness. Now, feminism that’s all academic: more bullshit that has little applicability; real world relevance on a day to day basis for most of us (it’s good for showing face; showing that policy studies is making tracks but no; so many policy studies venues on every corner of US society making a cripple out of “justice”) so we’re sending this to mysticism; the real deal. She was talking about how the company brought in some guy, made her train him and then told her that she was being replaced (edu, IT). They didn’t give her a reason why but told him and he in turn told her that the company said they were giving it to him because he had a family to support. That’s that’s something. She had a family to support too as a gay woman with a partner and 2 small kids also (no policy studies for her-unemployed). Our generation will never have it quite like our parents did at large (pick a job off of a tree). Well babe, we’ve seen it time and time again where even a single woman will catch hell just trying to support her single self and a man will come through with 2/3 different sets of families and often be able to support them all..and uh “when you understand how this world works; you’ll be less bothered by it.”
