Beyond the abyss

Gaia loves her children
and Gaia is within us to.
And the days may seem bleak to you, darling,
and the nights may feel blue.

If you should go screaming
into the chasms beyond the abyss,
drifting behind you,
the elusive emotions
from a billion strange nightmares.

it begins to quake, the chasm
fading before your eyes.
