The Bank Of Insufficient Love
Next in line
the perky teller
waves him over
He is disheveled
with that desperate look
in the saddest of blue
A victim of insufficient love
the lonely deterioration
starting to show
A mysterious withdrawal
to top up a fading spirit
and inject a dose of will
She is polite
but the remedy
is not hers to give
He accepts the decline
with nothing to deposit
and disappears.
