Image for the poem MORNING

MORNING

I woke up greeting the one who greeted me on a special day when he was pleased when my existence came to be.
A new life full of immense beauty, since he created me in his image at no price.
This bestowed me value among his creation because he created me in his beautiful image.

His presence is so exhilarating! When I get up in the morning and open my eyes, joy fills my heart when praising his name.
Greeting you, the highest and most praise-worthy one.
The one who is worthy of our praise, admiration, worship, and adoration!
Your mighty, it pleases me to look to you at daybreak.
Let a new day come to be since you have gifted it to us.
So that we can walk with pride as we ready-in to receive your blessings.

Let me adore him, the one who always take care of us.
Let me greet him, the one who wished that I get to see another day.
Let us be happy and rejoice since he always greets us because we are his.

Look at the intelligence he gave us, and wisdom that empowers us
Look at the wrong and right that it is in front of you and me
Look at your inner voice of sound reason which is guided by the Holy Spirit
Look at your inner voice of wrong reason which is tempted by the Evil Spirit
Look at your creator who gave you this life, a life that is full of blessings, and awe

Your Eternal one, on this bright and early morning, guide us
Your Eternal one, protect us since we are powerless without your presence
Your Eternal one, who is full of mercy and love, have mercy on us, give us your love
Lord Jesus Christ, our savior, forgive us our sins, protect us from the evil one, we believe in you.
Holy Spirit, the excellent advisor, do live and work in us, we need you.
Holy Mary, our mother, don’t leave us alone, please continue to plead for us; Do watch out for us!
