Dance In Life

Dance in life
Beautiful heard lyrics, yet continuous strife
Holding hands in love
Disaster strikes, soul floats above
Money, Fame, Mansion, Notoriety, the rich and famous’ grand deal
Wrists slit in the dark, now dosing down a hoard of sleeping pills

Damn if you do, damn if you don’t
Needs left in the winds, enlightened by the lust of wants
Souls bringing the best of their creed
Tears, laughter, aspirations, or their emotional bleed
Kindness in the eyes, deaf of wrath to the ears
Quite, peace, yet home invasion of fears

Are you living or just breathing
Failure to thrive, on the bottom cusped of succeeding
Souls binding by time, halo or horns, keep in mind
Political system, criminal minds combined
No remorse, no systematic fruits of its divine
America denigration of morality
Hate and love, the flip side of its duality

Are we united when we pledge
Or dividend by discontent’s ugly wedge
Love and Hugs, Kisses and Rubs
Anger of others is a thief more pestilent than a bedbug
Right or wrong
Just remember to dance to the beat of your own unified song

One day we shall all get alone to continue on
Or wait for the grave you lay alone
Where others share the space near your granite headstone
Dance in life
