I wish i would've noticed things,
Like the locked door,
And the lines on my mother's face;
We were trapped.

Your hugs made me feel whole,
But when you raised your voice;
I got so cold.
I wish i would've noticed.
The locked doors; The Deadbolt.

My chest burns at night,
Because when i think of you, I cry.
I'm angry I couldn't set us free.
Instead I'll watch my sisters;
They'll become empty, Just like me.

I wish I would've seen it,
The twisted arms ; all red alarms.
My mother's forced smile.
Nothing's alright,
Someone call the doctor ;
Fix us please.

We're one big happy family,
Except in ours,
Everyone's quiet.
There is no light, No sign of life.

Everyone's quiet,
Watching, Waiting.
Waiting for him to snap, To attack.
I wish I would've noticed,
Because maybe then,
I could've saved us.
