Adventurous Colours

We blindly stumbled across
each other,
Navigated voyages of adventurous
friendship without chart or waypoint,
broken connections littered with
miscommunications, I'm amazed
we didn't hear the gods of fate
sigh in disbelief, before giving up
& letting us just do whatever is was
we were trying to do
But they didn't give up,
And we, might still stumble
& our communications be poor,
but we're not so blind & our
waypoint has been drawn in
adventurous colours

With a nod to the past in acknowledged
Appreciation for all that's transpired to get one to that happy place

Looking forward is waaaay more positive than reflecting on the past.
I think that revisiting the past especially when it's about love and romance
can actually hinder and corrupt the present potentials.

But to remember it's early fragility is a timely reminder of how fragile it can be again from the strength gained
