Re: If only.
If only,
You told me,
That life doesn't owe me,
I could circumvate,
Self pity,
Skipping through the meadows gleefully,
Flowers blossom,
Whilst lovers play possum,
Simulating the serenity,
That exists ,
In the silence of the summer breeze,
If you where to run free,
No longer would i feel trapped,
In this web of wayward wonderment,
Constant questioning,
To shy,
To ask why ?
You cloud my judgement,
Like clouds coating the skyline ,
If we where to leave the hologram,
Could i remain murmuring,
In the illusion,
That is you and I?
You told me,
That life doesn't owe me,
I could circumvate,
Self pity,
Skipping through the meadows gleefully,
Flowers blossom,
Whilst lovers play possum,
Simulating the serenity,
That exists ,
In the silence of the summer breeze,
If you where to run free,
No longer would i feel trapped,
In this web of wayward wonderment,
Constant questioning,
To shy,
To ask why ?
You cloud my judgement,
Like clouds coating the skyline ,
If we where to leave the hologram,
Could i remain murmuring,
In the illusion,
That is you and I?
