Monster's Truck
Starring in a loathsome scene
I was only seventeen
In my mouth, a nasty cigarette
I ran so far away
For I did not obey
The loving wishes of my parents.
On a dark Missouri road
The engine had explode
Hitchhiker's thumb held way up high
That's when I saw the lights
Of a Chevy '69
Accompany a passersby.
The man inside was mute
Though he looked just like The Dude
A Cali bum with shades to hide.
The smell upon his breath
Like alcohol and death
I had endured the whole ride.
As the night came to an end
The stranger turned his head
As I tried to tell him goodbye
He had removed the shades
I began to hesitate
Two black holes were in his eyes.
What happened next, who knows?
That's how the story goes.
I was never to be found.
I couldn't see a thing
But that didn't bother me
For I had souls to sniff around.
