there are things that you can control
and there are things you cannot
like you're stuck inside the deepest
corner of the dot

and when you miss someone
you love
beyond your self
you're missing
e v e r y t h i n g

there are voids
that can be filled
and then there are those
no one else can

and when you miss someone
you love
beyond your grave
you're missing
e v e r y t h i n g
your soul has ever craved

and when you miss someone
you love
your eyes betray your soul
your heart becomes the pain
and you cannot control either

and when you miss someone
you love
you die a lonely death

you're dying every breath
