Boxing the making love away
We can do what we say 
with ease
Without thinking

The bed with me and you;
wrapped it in a bow, 
Boxed it away 
To open when we lay 

Everything else is where 
thoughts should now dwell 
The day to day living 
perfect happy situations
Taking us away from 
This waiting game

It's the waking & talking 
laughing and smiling 
Making sure our footsteps 
Fall intime together
on solid ground 
That keeps the making love
alive but boxed.
